The disabled community has responded to the adversities they face by organizing for legal rights that protect their autonomy and access to public life. But these rights are increasingly under attack.

Here's a piece from the WSJ on the latest tack by the administration and its allies: split the healthcare bill so prioritized parts of the legislation can be passed by a simple Democratic majority in the Senate.
